Smiple Meal Prep Idea #1

Rotisserie Chicken (or whatever protien you want to use) – Where I live the bigger chickens come from Costco ($5.99) and Whole Foods ($8.99).

Noodles(or Grains)- I am currently using Soba (そば or 蕎麦, “buckwheat”). They are Japanese noodles made primarily from buckwheat flour, with a small amount of wheat flour mixed in. I get mines from Weee! an online US Asian Market (www.sayweee.com) *Not sponsored*

Veggies – There are days I just toss in can/frozen veggies into the water that I am boiling the noodles in. I keep bags of Frozen Mixed Vegetables. Some days, I use kim chi or any pickle veggies I have on hand.

Chopped Green onions – Tip: You can chop them and place them in the frezzer to take them out when you need. You can also regrow the ends by placing them in water and changing the water every 24 hours.

Dipping broth: Soba/Whatever borth you like. I buy mines but it’s really easy to make. Here is a very smiple recipe: https://www.kurumicooks.co.uk/recipes-23/soba-broth

Cook your noodles/grains to your instrutions. Then ice/cold water bath them. Take them out. If you plan to storge them in the fridge, sprinkle them with some sessme/peanut oil.
